Fungicide activator

CHAPERONE is a highly concentrated fungicide activator with Performance Enhancer Technology and proven efficacy in activation of and residual control of contact, systemic, and translaminar fungicides.

CHAPERONE is designed to enhance the performance and efficacy of fungicides and help increase the percentage of diseases controlled, driven by the below properties:

1) Non-ionic Surfactant: Carbohydrate-based with excellent humectant-adherent-sticking properties that reduce the surface tension of the spray droplets. These properties promote greater surface contact on the leaves to get improved coverage of fungicide spray droplets as well as increased absorption and translocation of fungicide once they reach the cell membrane of the fungi.

2) Penetrant: Modifies the waxy cell wall of fungi, ensuring faster and more efficient penetration of fungicides through the intercellular walls of fungi. This allows a selective response to diseases without causing damage to the crop’s leaf.

3) Permeabilizer: Reacts with the sodium and calcium ions of the cell membrane of fungi, destabilizing and puncturing it, leaving points of entry for the fungicide.

  • Helps to prolong residual activity of fungicides, hence, increasing its percentage of control
  • Provides superior fungicide spray coverage & deposition
  • Assists the fungicide spray deposit to adhere or stick to the leaf surface & slow chemical residue loss
  • Helps prevent dew formation & promotes faster drying of the leaf surface following rainfall or irrigation
  • Improves foliar absorption & stomatal entry of fungicides
  • Increases and potentiates the efficacy of contact, translaminar & systemic fungicides
  • Accelerates the speed of droplet spray penetration on the leaves, enhancing performance on treated surfaces
  • Reduces fungicides spray evaporation, hence increasing efficacy & control
  • Increases fungicides permeabilization, which accelerates its action & allows the possibility of reducing fungicide rates use
  • The majority of its components are of organic origin; it is not a pesticide & has no PHI restrictions, hence it can be applied up to harvest date.

Mode and Mechanism of Action

Uses

A broad variety of crops including Wheat, Alfalfa, Pastures, Field Corn, Sweet Corn, Soybeans, Beans, Peas, Sorghum, Oat, Sugar Cane, Vegetable Root Bulb or Tuber Crops (Potatoes, Onions, etc.) Tomatoes, Peppers, Leafy Vegetables (Lettuce, Spinach, Cauliflower, Broccoli, etc), Cucurbits (Melons, Watermelon, Squash, Zucchini, etc.), Table Grapes and Wine Grapes, Strawberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, Cranberries, Kiwi, Pome Fruits (Apples, Pears, etc.), Stone Fruits (Plums, Nectarines, etc.) Citrus, Avocadoes, Rice, Asparagus, Okra, Nut Crops (Peanuts, Almonds, Walnuts, etc), Olives, Ornamentals, Landscape.

Use Rate

8 – 24 oz/ac

ARAMITE™ destabilizes and denatures the proteins in the cell wall membranes, as well as those in the ribosomes, mitochondria and nucleus of insects and mites, resulting in electrolyte depletion and cell death.

Symptoms

Monitoring

It is recommended to conduct evaluations 1 to 3 days after application.
  • Offers efficacy comparable to synthetic products.
  • Does not harm the environment.
  • Does not affect beneficial fauna or pollinating bees.
  • Key tool for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and resistance management.
  • Compatible for tank mixing with commonly used crop protection products, including biologicals.
  • Enhances foliar absorption and the penetration of insecticides and acaricides through spiracles.
  • Pleasant cinnamon scent.

Crop

Specialty and row crops, including: Corn, Soy Beans, Leafy Vegetables, Cucurbits, Berries, Grapes, Potatoes, Onions, Banana, Pineapples, Fruit and Nut trees

Pest

Mites, Thrips, Whiteflies, Aphids, Leafminers

Monitoring

(L / 200 L water)
0.35 to 0.6

Observations

It is recommended to apply two consecutive applications. Apply with a water volume that allows maximum application coverage. The use of an adjuvant that enhances application coverage is recommended.
