The organic permeabilizers and organic penetrants used in the BENT™ formulation adhere to the outer wall of the cell membrane of insects and mites and disrupt or compromise it by removing calcium and magnesium ions from the lipo-hydrophilic membrane via chelation.
Symptoms
- Paralysis: Within the first 12 hours causes an immediate knockout effect in some cases. This symptom is irreversible death.
- Death: Insects do not recover, causing death quickly, within 24 hours after application.
Monitoring
It is recommended to carry out evaluations 1 to 3 days after after application
