Acaricide-insecticide for use in organic production

BRAVADO is an insecticide-acaricide for use in organic production that contains a blend of natural plant oils, tested and proven to kill and control a broad spectrum of piercing-sucking insects including, but not limited to, mites, aphids, scales, leafminers and whiteflies. It can also control lace bugs, tent caterpillars, bagworms and beetles.

Mode and Mechanism of Action

ARAMITE™ destabilizes and denatures the proteins in the cell wall membranes, as well as those in the ribosomes, mitochondria and nucleus of insects and mites, resulting in electrolyte depletion and cell death.

Symptoms

  • Paralysis: Within the first 12 hours, it immediately causes knockout effects in some cases. This symptom is an irreversible sign of death.
  • Death: Insects do not recover, leading to rapid mortality within 24 hours after application.

Monitoring

It is recommended to conduct evaluations 1 to 3 days after application.

Observations

It is recommended to apply two consecutive applications. Apply with a water volume that allows maximum application coverage. The use of an adjuvant that enhances application coverage is recommended.
